Camping in Rock Creek Canyon
There are many excellent campgrounds in Rock Creek Canyon. Most of the campgrounds are first come first serve. The campgrounds that are available for reservations are: Tuff, Aspen Group Camp, East Fork, Rock Creek Lake and The Rock Creek Lake Group Site. The Mosquito Flats Campground is for people departing overnight into the backcountry with wilderness permits and may only be used for a one night stay before hiking off into the wilderness.

The Rock Creek campsites can be reserved online through a partnership the US Forest Service has with Reserve America. Below you will find a table containing information on each campground. Clicking on a link in the campground table below will take you to the reservation page for that campground. You may not make reservations at campgrounds without a link and are available on a first-come, first-served basis through the campground host. Bring the whole family. Get them one of our cabins if they would not prefer sleeping under the stars.
We do offer showers for campers. The cost is $5.00 per person and you may purchase the showers from the store or the kitchen. The showers are open from 9 am to 5 pm daily and are first come, first served. There are no electrical outlets available for blow dryers or electric razors so please plan accordingly.
